The IP rights in the function of sustainable development is an important segment of ATTORNNIKA® – Patent professional activities since 2009.
Jasna Nikolić is the author of complete concept of the non-governmental organization’s Center “Designers of sustainable development”. The results of the Center are visible and are reflected ina new approach to IP education (posters, publications and new use of modified works of art for the creative business).
The Center is the publisher of “IP Agro Almanac” which has been evaluated as outstanding by WIPO IP experts and Serbian Ministry of Education. It is based on innovative approach to learning about the Intellectual property rights and stimulating creativity concerning entrepreneurship. It treats individual forms of intellectual property in a popular way. This popular way implies simplicity in expression, comic format and originality. The originality of expression is in the use of authors’ works with intention that intellectual property concepts would be explained through symbolics.
The publication entitled ”Saint Anto Padovanski – Belgrade”, the publisher of which is the Center ”Designers of sustainable development” has been worked out in a new, original format through the use of author’s work of the ingenious Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik (1872-1957).
Understanding the value of intellectual property for business operations and proper management in the form of its legal protection are of essential importance for entrepreneurs’ education. Legal protection of intellectual property provides profit, reputation, recognizability of entrepreneurs’ products and services. In that sense, the intention is to motivate entrepreneurs, young people, innovators and women that by this innovative approach they focus their knowledge, skills, talent toward creative entrepreneurship.
ATTORNNIKA® – Patent points out with pride that Jasna Nikolić, attorney-at-law, Representative for all intellectual property rights before the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia and European Patent Attorney has been granted 2024, the title of ’’Changemaker“ by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and in that context her work was presented on WIPO site.
It is very important to stress that this Nikolić Jasna’s success was also achieved thanks to all Serbian artists with which she presented her work in the context of sustainable development.
Nikola Knezević, designer with world reputation, whose design works were used for Agro Almanac, which were designed in comics format by Borivoje Grbić, illustrator and comics designer.
The presentation of pictures of Ana Cakić entitled ’’My Art Changer’’, (2019, Art Expo Ljubljana) the author of which is Saša Marić, should be emphasized as well.
Also, fascinating columns of Serbian ceramics craftswoman Ljubica Jojić Knezević with the slogan of Jasna Nikolić on the intellectual property poster enabled that art work of Serbian artists was recognized and verified on the highest world level.
